Blox Privacy Policy
Effective Date: February 11, 2025
Last Updated: June 6, 2025
Blox Labs, Inc. and its affiliates ("Blox", "we", "our", or "us") respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. Our fraud‑prevention platform helps our merchant customers ("Customers") detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive transactions in their e‑commerce stores and mobile applications. This Privacy Policy applies to the personal information we collect about personnel of our Customers or prospective business leads and users of our public websites (collectively, the "Sites"). It describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices available to you. It also explains the measures we take to safeguard your information and how you can contact us about our privacy practices. For information about how we handle personal information belonging to shoppers and other end users that our Customers share with us through the Blox Services, please read our End‑User Privacy Policy.
Personal Information We Obtain
The personal information we may obtain in connection with our Sites and the Services includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Contact information, such as your name, telephone number, postal address and email address;
- Professional information, including your job title, company name, industry and employment background;
- Account information, such as usernames, passwords, account preferences and other credentials;
- Device information, described further in the “Automated Data Collection” section below;
- Job‑application materials, such as résumés or cover letters you submit to us; and
- Any other information you choose to provide to us through forms, surveys, registrations, emails, calls, conference meetings or similar interactions.
- Customer-supplied data and network-level insights: Limited information that participating Customers choose to provide about a shopper, together with aggregate indicators that Blox derives by analyzing activity across its service network.
We collect this information when you interact with us—for example, when you browse the Sites, register for a webinar, request a demo, attend an event, apply for a job, or otherwise communicate with our team. In some cases we also obtain information from third‑party sources such as referral partners, public databases and data enrichment providers.
Automated Data Collection
When you visit the Sites or open our emails, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information by means such as cookies, pixel tags, web server logs, device fingerprinting and similar technologies. We use these technologies to:
- Remember your preferences so you do not have to re‑enter information;
- Understand, measure and analyze how you use and interact with the Sites;
- Customize and improve your experience;
- Measure the effectiveness of our communications and marketing;
- Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Sites.
The data we collect through automated means includes IP addresses, approximate geolocation, device identifiers, browser characteristics, operating‑system details, language preferences, pages viewed, links clicked, dates and times of access, referring URLs and other usage data. Your browser or device may allow you to restrict or disable these technologies, but doing so may limit functionality on the Sites. For mobile devices, you can manage how your device shares certain data by adjusting privacy settings on the device.
How We Use the Information We Obtain
We use the information we obtain for our legitimate interests in operating and expanding our business, delivering the Services and ensuring security, including to:
- Provide and operate the Services;
- Set up, administer and manage user accounts;
- Verify identity and authenticate access to the Services;
- Communicate with you and provide customer or technical support;
- Personalize your experience on the Sites and in the Services;
- Market and promote Blox products and services and send you related offers;
- Administer surveys, promotions or events;
- Conduct analytics, research and product development, including compiling or anonymizing data;
- Improve and secure our Sites and Services, prevent misuse, detect and investigate fraud or other illegal activities;
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements and protect the rights, property or safety of Blox, our Customers or others.
- Network-Level Fraud Insights. Where enabled, we combine certain identifiers to create aggregate fraud-prevention indicators and make those indicators available to other participating merchants for their own transaction risk analysis.
Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent to use your personal information for marketing or other purposes. We may also use the information in other ways that we describe at the time of collection or with your consent.
Third‑Party Analytics Services
We use third‑party analytics services—such as Google Analytics, HubSpot and LinkedIn Analytics—to help us understand how visitors engage with the Sites. These service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Sites, which they may combine with information they have collected elsewhere. For more information about Google Analytics, please visit https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.
Interest‑Based Advertising
We partner with advertising networks that collect information across websites over time to display ads that are more relevant to your interests. You can learn how to opt out of certain interest‑based advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices or www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and, in the EU/UK, www.youronlinechoices.eu.

- With Your Consent: We may share information with third parties when you direct us to do so or otherwise consent.
- Inter-Merchant Risk Data: We supply network-derived risk indicators—and, if expressly authorized, merchant-supplied metadata— solely to augment the customer information a merchant already holds. Such data is shared only with merchants that independently possess the shopper’s identifiers, and no new identifiers are revealed.
